Lambda Photonics Inc. was founded on August 1, 2001 in Shenzhen by photonics engineers from North America. We focus on R&D, manufacture and sales of photonics and networking products, such as erbium-doped fiber amplifiers (EDFA), networking cabling and wiring system, optical transceivers and fiber-optic connectors.

The core technologies of our EDFA target first on quickly and effectively suppressing the cross-gain saturation inside DWDM EDFAs. Secondly, the maintenance function of our EDFA accelerates the monitoring and maintaining at each EDFA node and tremendously lowers the system cost. All of above techniques are unique in mainland China. We are aiming to develop state-of-art C/L band EDFAs.

We manufacture superior fiber optic patch cords with all kinds of connectors, fiber optic attenuators, fiber optic couplers/splittesr, DWDM. Optical instrumentation, such as tunable laser and power meter will be coming soon. Our cabling system was released to facilitate broadband networking wiring, and VoIP series of products offers the most challenging solution to long distance and enterprise internal phone calls.

As a technology-driven high-tech company, our key R&D team consists of former Nortel Networks Equinox (OC-768) and JDS Uniphase engineers and researchers. We invest 10% of the sales turnover on R&D each year. Our company also sets 15% of total stock to outstanding R&D engineers as bonus, which combines the team innovation and the company development closely.
